Talk about saving the best for last - for the final week of the season Avoriaz are putting on the Winamax Winter Tour which is essentially a 5 day online poker tournament held in an igloo!
From midday until 18:00 every day, anyone is welcome to pop into the igloo at the bottom of the pistes and indulge in a bit of online gambling which seems like an entirely normal to finish off your day on the hill...... Having said that, any winnings will of course come in more than handy for apres ski so perhaps there is a good reason after all!
Moreover if you win big, you can book to come back to Avoriaz next year! It's all about high stakes at high altitude....
