New four star hotel with spa and ski-in/ski-out location

featured in Hotels

Designed in keeping with Avoriaz's unusual, mimetic architectural style, this contemporary hotel opened its doors in December 2019 as the resort's second four star hotel.

Offering breathtaking views of Avoriaz village and its snow capped peaks, Hotel Mil8 provides an ideal setting for your winter ski holiday. The resort offers an entirely pedestrianised area to be explored on foot, in a horse-drawn carriage or on skis. Equally avant-garde and timeless, it has remained unrivalled for over 50 years, constantly reinventing itself - and Hotel Mil8 is proof of that.

Whether you choose to stay with your partner, family or friends, you will appreciate the hotel's stylish, understated décor, with natural materials combined with comfortable, cosy furnishings set off by the natural daylight throughout. In the hotel bar and lounge area with fireplace through to the restaurant and its sunny terrace, Mil8 nurtures the mountain way of life. Children are very welcome at the hotel and they will be delighted to discover an area exclusively for them.

With its 42 spacious rooms and suites, measuring from 21 to 56m², most of which interconnect and enjoy a large balcony, Mil8 offers a warm, contemporary feel with shimmering fabrics and modern furniture. Each one is comfortably equipped for when you return from the slopes.

The hotel's ideal ski-in/ski-out location ensures you get to experience all the thrills of skiing in the Portes du Soleil, the largest ski area in Europe, or take advantage of ski lessons with a ski school just a few metres away.

The wellness area with its entirely glass fronted design means you can relax with a view and enjoy the infinity and open air pools with resistance jets.

Groups can also enjoy this idyllic setting to organise meetings in the conference room (40 person capacity), or for a team building event.
